Probably should have taped his ears a little sooner... usually if they dont come up by about 5 months. Good luck! He's a cutie!

maybe your're right, but both ears were up at some point in time in his life so i gave him some more time. if the taping dosent work than oh well, he's still a great dog.

Has he lost all his teeth yet? I was always led to believe the ears can do anything because of teething but Iwould tape them asap because your running out of time.

I consider light/yellow eyes a fault, it is one of the 1st signs of lack of pigmentation which is a 1st sign of degeneration of the line. Some breeders breed for this trait and that is a big NO, NO..
That said if your dog has this and no other problem then you should be very happy.

Hips,elbows, temperament, structure, all the major stuff but i would also not breed such dog if has washed out colors. If all this is good than breed to very dark dog with deep colors. There is a difference between lighter brown eyes and yellow eyes.

Want do you think of this female she has lighter eye but there not yellow.
Hips are good elbows is normal temperament is excellent with good structure and her color is not washed out .
She also works like a male in all three phases.

Jakes other ear is showing signs of going up. But tonight im going to try and tape them up. I was looking at that picture of him, his eyes do look like a golden color, but he's also looking right into the sun. i'll have to take a good long look at him tonight.
