Proxy Votes
I have just confirmed that proxy votes are not allowed under Association rules. To all of you who have agreed to vote by proxy - many thanks for your support and I will let you know if there is anything else you can do for us.
I have approx 6 people who have committed to attending an SGM. Please PM me if you are able to do this. Mum, Zep and I are going to gather our thoughts over the weekend and decide what to do - we'll let you know!
Thanks to all of you for the posts, PMs and e-mails - we do not feel as alone now as we did last night!

cshirley,if it can be held around midday on the weekend and someon e can meet me at a station and the trains are okay then i will attend.had trouble with the time it took to get to lichfield on a sun.once when i wanted to attend your champ show or if someone who,s coming can meet me somewhere to give me a lift.obviously will contribute to fuel costs.Carole Spelman.

I have a lot of help committed now. Will work on a good resolution for an SGM this week and also get membership forms out to people.
I don't want to send the SGM proposal to the secretary until we are ready so it may be a couple of weeks or so until I have sufficient memberships in hand and then I will sock it to them - they are so preoccupied with preparing for Crufts obedience with their collies at the moment that they will have forgotten the way they have betrayed the GSD by the time they get the letter!
Thanks for the support everyone - we need to outnumber the ignorant and the mis-guided and those who don't care!

One little observation, Andrew Winfrow reads this board all of the time, so by the time this is out, it will be known by the Gen Sec without doubt, his second call to her... but we are not doing anything unconstitutional, we are working for the good of the GSD Association, and we will do that in a manner than cant be challenged because it will be within the proper channels I know.
The many phone calls I have also received, have been overwhelming, and shows us just how much people care that are interested in the welfare of our breed. Mo (Mom)

What is wrong with you people? BDGSDA does not belong to you!
BDGSDA have held a perfectly legitaimate meeting within the rules of their constitution. Because the vote didnt go your way, by quite a sizable majority!, you now set out to conspire against the committee.
Why dont you just set up a new club and run it under the rules you want it to have?
