I'm confused, Can i ask .....anyone who trialed their dog and gained a title under a BASGD judge with the exception of E Roberts, is that persons title in their score book valid?

Good question Fairplay. It's very confusing to me all round. If a dog trials in England and gains Schutzhund qualifications does the SV recognise the English qualifications ?, if they do why do some owners go abroad to do their qualifications and not just do them in England ?. Do you have to be a member of the SV to get Schutzhund qualifications or just be a member of the League or Bagsd ?. I am also confused about the difference between Sch & Vpg , are they the same qualifications and why the different names ?.

I could not answer your special UK Questions, but the question in the Top! In 2002 the SchH Trials in Germany get a new term by the kennel club called VPG (Multi working trial). It was only a political trick, as we get the special dog rules in some areas!
The SV Member Meetings decide after an application, from Dr. Helmut Raiser, that the SV will use the name SchH beacuse it is a traditional Name for this trial. So the DVG use VPG and the SV use SchH! It is simple!
In the new rulebook in 2011 will all have the same name! Hope I could help!

Thank you Doghunter for explaining the difference. I prefer the traditional Sch name , everyone knows this name.
I hope somebody can answer my other questions.
