It would seem that the PENNY  still hasn't dropped yet, and of course never will-how do you change a mind set that sees grace and favour judging-judging own stud dogs, putting up trainers and handlers that work for you, how can one affix be diffent breeders ( ridiculous) secretatries entering own club shows etc etc-sorry the list is too long, but you know all the probs as well as the rest of us.Sadly the circle of deceit will never be cut out-as you have experienced yourself at small shows if a judge enters he/she always wins and stuff the public. There is also a false mind set that only show folk can breed a decent shepherd, which is a cancer in the breed.Sadly its all to do with making a " buck ".
No one with 5-20 shepherds in their kennels can give individual love and attention to them all-so they become in the most part commodities.

you havent pm`d me for that judging invite pencil, so I assume you are not going to pm for your invite to a committee to help kill the scourge that you rightly talk about. 
When two people have seperate interests in an affix..... they pay the K.C> a fee individually to register their own dogs rather than having to put each signature on the form, and to enter shows rather than chase each other to get forms completed, and the legalities are that if anything happens to one of the partnership in the affix, the other one doesnt have to jump through K.C. hoops to get the dogs transferred into their name etc.   Quite honestly, I would never put a dog that I owned or had bred into any of the shows Shirley is judging, and she would never do that either - it would be laughable.

The nearest I had happen in that light was a grand-daughter of my Champion dog, and believe me, she won her ticket with ease, and I certainly wasnt the only Ch judge to say so, and give her top honours.  However, I can say that I scrutinised carefully to see if there was another female to better her.

In every walk of life there are sets of people.  There are people who blatently kill their hobby by cheating, there are people who are so worried about pencils that they dare not move in case they end up on this database being quoted or mis-quoted, or blamed for something that they havent done,, there are people who couldnt give a fig because they know they are honest, and there are people that run the other way because they cant face pencils.... 

So - we have honest folk,                  dishonest folk,             shy and scared folk           and folk who dont understand it at all.

How on earth are you Pencil, going to change the world from your pc chair and your anonymous name.   Well, you will agree with me that you are not.  And thats because you know it, and everyone else knows it, so why bother?  Why not get off your hassienda and get active and come out of your shell.  Anonymous folk dont fit into all of the categories above, but they do fit into two of them....

Last time I paid my affix fee it wasn't very expensive-so why wouldn't people want their own affix-nothing to do with getting results by association I guess ( no we dont believe that either )

I can't understand for the life of me why I feel the need to reply to you Pencil but maybe it will make things a little clearer for people who are able to undestand.  Paul has worked with me and my dogs since he was 13 years old (now 27!) and when he came to breed his first litter 2 years ago I asked him if he would like to use my affix in his own right or if he would like to take out his own.  He said that as I now belonged to the Oxygen Stealers Club (my daughter's expresion for pensioners!) that it would be nice to be part of the Nikonis affix and to carry it on after I have long gone.  He is proud to be part of the Nikonis affix and I am proud to have him as he has worked very hard for my dogs.  He makes his own decisions and stands by them - pity more can't say the same.  Another of your accusations - that judges put up dogs by their stud dog - the shows would lose even more entries if judges were not allowed to judge dogs sired by their stud dogs.  It goes without saying that if you are lucky enough to have a stud dog who produces well and to his own type then the animals from that dog are going to be the type that you like - otherwise why would you have the dog at stud?  Again if you then go on to eliminate any handler that has handled for your or trainer that has trained for you or your brother's wife's sister's father in law from entering how many dogs do you think would be eligible for the show?  It is rubbish that nothing can be changed.  Anything can be changed but only if you are working with people - you will never change anything if you shout from the rooftops on your own - so come on join a Committee and let some other nutter shout at you.  Nikki

Nikki pencil does not want things to change because if they did what would he do with his pathetic life then, no sh-t to stir no lies to tell no one to be jealous of and he might have to answer questions put to him   i take it you have noticed he never ever answers a question something he is good at blaming everyone else for  the pencils of this world get off on stirring trouble and hiding behind there anonymous names i really do not think for a moment that pencil has ever owned a shepherd maybe a cross-breed or some thing but not a true blood german shepherd oh and another thing have you noticed that every time some one tells it as it is he comes back with (you are only trying to feather your own nest nonsense)   maybe one day soon they will find a medication that might help him but until then we just have to let him sprout his nonsense.

I dont think there is a GSD breeder who has posted on this forum that pencil hasn't slagged off.

It is unfortunate that in todays times it easy to mock, insult and generally sh*t stir from infront of a computer.

I only wish pencil would take up judging as I hear he can hip and elbow score a dog without x-rays. He also claimed that he doesn't need to advertise to sell several puppies.  I am now have a dilemma, a puppy from pencil which for the life of me I can't find and if I did I wouldn't be able to show it as the only the best judge in the world of anything GSD (pencil) would be good enough for such a puppy.
