I've seen breeders try to sell puppies with megaesophagus to unsuspecting people. One breeder in particular wanted $1000 plus shipping.

I would put a working dog breeder up against 90% of the AKC breeders anyday. But then again I think the US should adopt the German regulations on breeding anyway.
