I only know what i was told when i adopted her. shes at a great weight right now and very very muscular she seems happy and the hair loss she had from the flea allergy has all grown back. i just wondered if it was the protein level difference but has anyone elses dogs gotten this energy burst after meals? ive never had a dog do this so i was curious

We had a pit bull mix that had "happy tail" almost constantly. He would hit it against dang near anyting; corners, railings, chairs, tables..... almost every week he would break open the scabs and it would bleed again. It was a mess. No he didn't chase or chew his tail.

At 3 years, a dog is basically a 16 - 25 year old in human years. Some are very active, some are not. Our young adult dogs want to go out on bike rides, hikes, and play fetch 24/7 at that age.

Try teaching your dog some tricks (Dogs Tricks for Dumbies). I had an Aussi that was crazy unless her mind was tired. Spending 15 minutes a day learning a new trick and a bike ride settled her right down at that age.
