Armchair training describes about every thread on the database, except the armchair breeding ones, where I'm usually found.

You will be out of commission for about 6 weeks. Been there done that. You can do position excersises with you dog/dogs. Also hold quietly with the dumbell. With food reward. Reinforce position and that will give you some comfort while you heal. Also you could do a video, a Budweisser ad with the pup bringing you a beer!!!

Wanderer,
I figured I would be out of commission, so to speak, for 6-8 weeks. I was told that I had a moderate sprain on my ankle and a severe on my knee. The pulled muscle in my right shoulder is very minor. In fact, it doesnt even hurt anymore and I have full range of motion back in my right arm. I am elevating my leg still, icing and taking Advil (or as Slamdunc calls it Vitamin A..lol) when needed. I am trying to stay off of it as much as possible. I am also still on modified duty at work and will be for another few weeks or so.
I have been doing some minor OB stuff with Xena. Some focus work, fronts and finishes... I havent taught her to open the fridge yet though...lol. I dont think that would be a good idea, she is a food hound. I think she would empty the fridge on me.. IT will be great when I can get back to tracking and protection work.. hopefully in a couple weeks.
