Personally I use Iverheart Max year round even though I am in Michigan. I test every other year and so far have never had any problems. I order the meds from my vet who sells it to me for the same price I can get it online. Per my vet there have been problems with dogs who are right on the cutoff weight for the meds. We have jumped the dosage up for a couple dogs who hit right on the cutoff weight.
