Not a gsd but I hope she works out for your family any how as she needs you.

Very confused--you said the sire was an AKC registered German shepherd dog and the dam was a "full blooded" German shepherd dog??

I agree NOT full GSD, someone else got to mom! In the small town I grew up in the dog pound listed EVERY pup with a black saddle and big paws as "Shepherd Mix", there are many other breeds that have black w/ tan coloring!!!
Pup is cute, just redirect her biting- she has to chew now to get her adult teeth- make sure she knows what is off limits!
Good luck- she's cute!

Not pure bred GSD, but sweet all the same!

Yeah we got her a Kong binkie and some toys because she loves tug of war, it has been along time since I have had a puppy and I have forgotten what little hellions they can be. The breeder was absolutely no help, I am almost positive the mom is a mix and her DNA papers are false. Now I would just like to find out what else our little girl could be, a woman working at the pet store suggested plott hound.

Sure hope the breeder did not over-charge you for the puppy since she is not a purebred gsd. Enjoy her---puppies, like children, grow up too fast!

She was not very expensive, next time we decide to get a German shepherd we are going to a reputable breeder,
