I really wish you people would stop acting like children and have some respect for the owners but more so for the great dog Flipp was - Brittany if you want to know what was the cause of death why aren't you contacting the owners

I'm sorry to hear of this dog's death and my sympathies go out to his owners and admirers. If Flipp died due to an accident, then I think it should be best left at that. However, we have no idea if it was accidental or due to a genetic defect of some sort. If someone could simply relieve people's concerns for the latter, there would be no need to question further. Unfortunate and devastating accidents do happen, but so do genetic defects that cause premature death in the GSD. It's quite reasonable (and responsible from a breeder's perspective) for people to POLITELY inquire as to what caused Flipp to leave us so young. Sincere condolences to Flipp's owners/friends. Regardless of the cause, the heart aches the same. Diane Seaman

GSDluvr, I sure hope you're not including me. I simply asked DH a simple question and she is switching it around and refusing to answer to my question, including Mysti. I do not know who the owner of Flipp is.. and I fear that theirs going to be a lanauge issue as I do not know german that much. I thought DH could be a pal (Since she lives in germany and has all of those connections) and give us some valuable information to the cause of death of Flipp. I guess this is a very touchy subject ;/

This is another bad thing about this board. I ask a simple question out of concern and surprise and get my head bit off. I'm sorry if I offended Flips owners it just came as a shock. Mysti

DH you should have known that by you pasting the comment that Flip died sooner or later some one would ask how.

Mysti, Ignore the meanies on this board ;)

Maybe it would be appropriate to just wait a few weeks and those who have Flipp progeny could then contact Arlett with your inquiry?

To the owners of Flipp v Arlett, my thoughts are with you at this difficult time. A dogs' death AT ANY AGE, does matter. Anyway you look at it, this is the owners family member. DH, I have to respectfully disagree with you as to the cause of death. If you would like to e-mail me offline, please do so. Just my opinion but, if I had the bloodlines, I would want to know what is in store for me and the dog, and NOT put blame on any animal or bloodline. That would be stupid because ALL of our dogs will die one day. I just hope that Flipp did not suffer. RIP Flipp! Dawn
