I don't see it mentioning about the calcium though.    And thanks for the compliment on my dogs as well.  A couple of them are blowing their coats again so they look a little rough to me.

True the Coats are a bit rough in one or two pic's but i look at the Head and Eyes and then on down the quaity of coat is there. THanks for the info on the TOTW we cannot get Sierra Kibble over here so it will have to be wetlands or Prarie. Strange the Calcium content is not included as a whole

I feed Acana Wild Prarie which is hig protein and my pup grew up fine.  I believe the problems comes (with pano and other ailements) when you over feed, add supplements and/or the calcium phosporus ratios are out of balance.

GSDguy here in North Canada sled dogs get more protein (FISH, FISH, FISH) because they stay outside at -30 Celsius and work a lot...maybe that's were the rumour of the protein comes from...

Jyl
Many thanks for putting on the Calcium ratios of TOTW, I can see why the Calcium is so high with grain free Kibbles, It is just the way it works out with all the Meat and ingredients had they Grain in the Levels would be lower, But it is natural The Wolfsblut i feed Gina has 2.50 calcium. The 32% Protein does not bother me at all for a growing puppy i think i will give it a try when the Bags of Wolfsblut has run out, If they look good on it i will save around 400 dollars a Year feeding two dogs.

TingiesandNails, maybe I won't have to worry about that down here lol.  We might get down to 15 degrees (above 0) farenheit during a cold snap here.  Even at that, that's pretty rare, typically we're in the mid 20s for lows in the winter here.  My guys are all inside, but we do a lot of walking and other exercise outside.
