If the owner of dog does not wish others to see the video, he/she can reset the privacy option for the said video on youtube to (private) so it can not be watched by others.

But I agree that if a dogs  name is for instance "sammy"  with no kennel name there will be loads of irrevelant videos popping up in the list.    I do enclose the name in quotes when I send the query to youtube.  

Example:  I send "Apoll vom Laacher-Haus"   looking for that exact phrase,  not Apoll vom Laacher-Haus  which would look for "Apoll" or "vom" or Laacher-Haus"  preferably all together.

So it should be pretty close for most of the dogs.    But dogs with simple names will get bogus results.  (dogs with complex names and no videos will show nothing.  Example: Apoll vom Laacher-Haus) 

I will work on a way to stop videos from showing .  But I will need to find a way stop users from preventing videos out of spite though..

Here is an example

The first 8 videos are of Shicco, the 9th and 10th are of other dogs; Xanadur vom Valtenbe & Zicco Athaba !!! something is not very correct here, isn't it?

That is because video 9 has a description text of "VA5 Shicco von der Freiheit Westerholt x VA Gloria vom Valtenberg"  and video 10 has a description text of "son of VA Shicco von der Freiheit Westerholt x V Napoli von Athaba"  ..

so it  does seem to work in my opinion

Ok yes now I understand why, so all videos having the exact full name of the dog will appear on his pedigree page eventhough they are of other dogs, I think no harm as the other dogs' videos are related to the same dog like offspring etc.

Maybe limiting the videos on a pedigree to lesser number may help in limiting videos of other dogs related appearing, what you think?

For those who do not want their video on the data base, all you have to do is go to youtube and make it not public. Saves Oli alot of work and if someone doesn't want their video to be seen it should not have been public in the first place.
