I think if anything it's going to be an economic armageddon, which will then lead to total civil disorder. The total disorder will come to main street when the people who laugh now are not ready to support their families in a survival situation. Those who are ready for survival need to support their local and state Militias because they will eventually be called apon for duty. Unless of course the Federal Government requests foreign troops through the United Nations. The later is more likely concidering how corrupt the Federal Government is now. But maybe not, I believe the States will call the Militia's in dire straights. They know who their friends are Constitutionally.
The signs are all around us, the latest being Aug 5 2011 when the S&P down graded our AAA to AA. This it's self is historic just like Dec 7 1941, only this time Aug 5 2011 is the first time a credit agency ever acknowledged "the Emperor is wearing no cloths" kinda thing.
The sad thing is the S&P said on the congress floor that if there is no budget cuts proposed in the last debt ceiling deal they would downgrade us. Well, a deal was made, the admin got their printed up moneys, and 60% was spend the very next day. Unbelievable. So, soon they will have to get another bogus debt ceiling deal and continue on the path of out dollar distruction. Anyone with an once of common sense knows ... eventually our dollar will crash, it's an elementary thought.
Now we have Obama telling Americans the S&P downgrade means nothing, that we are still the #1 best rated soveriegn nation regardless what S&P says. Ya ok, kinda makes you wanna argue your credit rating means nothing when you go to buy that 150,000 dollar walking cane, huh ? LOL
Either way you think about it, we are in the beginning of or just starting a new recession (just starting I think (lol)) with the unemployment rate said to be above 9%, interest rates at 0% .. with just these two figures .. imagine what the next fical stimulous or QE will do. It's gonna blow the deficits off the charts.

"Iraq for Sale" by Robert Greenwald is an interesting read.
Ron Paul? I think not, I don't agree with some of his views, will continue researching on my presidential pick for 2012
I do agree that there is a disconcerting trend to send out troops into other countries for whatever reason, if that country has something those in Washington deem important like oil or minerals. If that country has nothing those in Washington deem important, we don't send troops. JMO

Where is all that cheap Iraqi oil? Anybody know? I sure haven't seen any, or if someone did slip it into my tank of late, it is the most expensive, yet.

The S&P was being very generous in regards to our recent downgrade, this is also evident. I understand the S&P missed the subprime, but others didn't and were extremely vocal, so the conclusions remain the same regardless. This is what Obama is basing his thoughts on S&P meaning nothing with our credit rating. In reality, S&P was being generous during the subprime doing nothing and at the time prolly going along with the status quo. This time they did the right thing but ... (that's a whole other issue) lol
To understand the above you need to look at New Zealand, they are a AA+, (what we are now but we are on a negative watch) their dollar is making record highs, net public debt is 10% of GDP in truth New Zealand is way way more solvent than we are. So again, our AA on a negative watch is still very generious but the good thing is acknowledgement.
I took this screenshot around 11:00am today. Notice the 1776 (lol)

Bazza,
you are more than welcome to eat the peanuts from my, sheeit.
The thing I could not stand and will never agree with is censorship plain and simple, plus I have little tolerance of the Nine.
BabyEagle,
there are millions out of work, somewhere around 14 million was the last I heard, I never trust the numbers, it's much worst than that I'm sure.
Were will the jobs be coming from?
I've got an ounce of gold, it's value goes up and down minute by minute, what's it now $1,600.00 or more, I want a gallon of milk, do I slice off a sliver with my pocket knife at the store?
Ron Paul is our savior? I don't think so.
Our system is broken, has been for decades, and the Nines are the mainstream not capable of rational original thought.
I am a trained soldier, and now I'm back in society, what do you think I will do now to make a living, what will I do when things get bad, this already scares Homeland security.
Man has already begun the removal of unproductive populations with genocide, thats been going on for decades as well.
Look at the middle east, the people have had enough of the tirants and dictators, they fight with small arms against tanks and jets, who do you think will win.
When the time comes we will be in the same situation.
Yes 2012 will be very interesting, I don't buy into religious profecy, or Mayan calenders, I only know what I see.
I am not a defeatist, I am a realist.
Even if we could fix our own country we can do nothing about the rest of the world, and now it's all interconnected to the point that when one goes we will all go.
The earth has already reached the tipping point and change is in motion, if we stop what we're doing today parts of it will never recover.
Everything and everyone are connected, the telephone pole that carries electricity to your home was once a tree, what is more valuable?
Your child or a child in Somalia, which deserves to live more than the other?
I saw what is to be 40 years ago and everything I saw has come to pass and continues to become a reality, I am not the only one who knows this.
You don't have to believe me, just open your eyes and see.
Or you can wave the flag, pray to your God, and keep on buying that gold, live the dream.
Moons.

The bright side?
No..... I cannot laugh.
Perhaps I can dream of the way it should be, but I awake to how it actually is, and I roll over and try to go back to sleep, that doesn't happen so I get up and deal with it the only way I can.
Life is and has always been a struggle, but now the struggle has become much greater.
We not only kill ourselves but we kill our mother earth as well.
For better or worst what is to come is evolution, this is a constant and cannot be stopped.
There are solutions but they escape our grasp because most do not see.
Anyway,
I have firewood to cut, you all have a nice day.

Am I reading this correctly? Are people saying that we are only at war for some major corporations gains? I just can't believe it! But I seem to remember Cheney with a connection to Halliburton and an oil tanker named the Condoleeza Rice. But, there really can't be any connection to the Iraq and Afghanistan conflict and major corporations and our government? This is really amazing, earth shattering and enlightening. Who would have thought that this was even possible? Thank you Preston for bringing this to light. I never would have thought it was possible.
by bazza on 11 August 2011 - 06:08
Slamdunc, LMAO. Moons you keep the peanuts you'll need them the next time you open your gob and spew your usual regurgetated shite, lol.
What's more important your chopped firewood or the tree it came from?
PRICELESS, PRICELESS and once again PRICELESS!!!
