Sieger 2006 - who? - Page 2

Thanks Froggy and all the others who are having a sensible chat on here, so nice to read. I for one as usual CANT wait for the Sieger show and i think this year will be a good one. I also am looking forward to seeing Odin and Vegas a year on,and to see the new yongsters. I personally would like to see Zamp Sieger,and one of my personel favs is Nando so fingers crossed for him. Any one have any ideas for females?

Hi Karen, Absence for maternal duties and no necessity for progeny always makes females much more difficult to predict. Having seen her compete to V1 in June this year at the Juniorenmeisterschaft Show held at Schloss Holte Stadium - Stukenbrock, I guess VA Hazel vom Streek may well be presented again. Last year the lines in movement of Oprah di Fossombrone impressed me from the stadium, as did the type of Anta vb Haten & Farina vom Noriswand and I reckon their Ursus free lines makes all three exciting breeding prospects. Then wouldn't be surprised to see Zamp being represented in the female VA group this year but which one? Won't it be exciting to just wait and see! All the Best Sue

was at a show in stuckenbrouck on 5 th june and watched quantum beat both zamp and quenn.The dog was in fantastic condition,and fully desereved to win the class,Maybe he will be seiger before he retires

hi all jeanette here well first froggy hopefully cora will be mated so missing this year now would also like to see zamp also quantam pakros bravos ken marko dux orbit ulk joker and nando hopefully all make va status but as i have a daughter from ulk then prefernce takes place i hope you all have a wonderful sieger show and enjoy regards jeanette

At last, a thread about GSD - Well done. Well IMHO my thoughts (for a number of reasons) on who WILL be VA are:- 1. Zamp (simply stunning) 2. Pakros (father of Vegas! need I say more) 3. Orbit (suspect progeny may be better that we think) 4. Nando (one of my favourites and top producer;-)) 5. Quenn (lovely progeny) 6. Dux 7. Odin ( perfect construction) 8. Vegas (to die for - stunning) 9. Bravos (another of my favourite's and top producer) 10.Ken And yes, we are competing again this year. Our current plans, depending on shows before hand, are to show Conbhairean Erin in the Open class. We have Conbhairean Leska & Louis & Kiara vom Conbhairean & Kris vom Conbhairean, all entered in the JKL's. So far, Leska has a VV3 and a VV1, both under Herr Bosl in Germany. We hope that both Kiara and Kris will be shown under there respecive judges in the next few weeks for the first time. Also, as if that wasn't enough, Conbhairean Linzi (sister to Louis and Leska) has 2 x VV2 position's in good company and in Germany and she is also soon to go under Herr Bosl, so fingers crossed for her. However, the 'L' litter are up against it a little, being only 1 yr old the day before the Sieger, but that won't stop us trying and enjoying every single second of it:-)) For us this is the busiest year yet for training and showing in Germany in preparation for the Sieger, with a total of 6 'Conbhairean's' entered!

Good luck Heather and Dave, love Leska! Yet to see the 'K' litter. I would like to see Pakros as Sieger, then Yoker, Zamp, Quenn, and the others already mentioned in any order! My favorite bitch and 'my' Siegerin would have to be Hansel v Streek, and really liked some of the Italian bitches last year. Regards Sting.
