Yes, a nice Pic, but that makes me old i was 9 years old when Tiny was 8 weeks old
My sister comes over twice a year to stay for a week or two, Coming over in June, It does not show in the Pic but she had deep copper coloured hair, in her younger days now of course lighter but not as blond as my bit

Steve I LOVE that photo, and the story behind it.  You are so lucky to have the picture to remind you of the good times of childhood.  Thank you for posting it, because it also made me remember and think about my youth and my first dog.  Those were the days, my friend !!

You know, sometimes I think about when I was in grade school, and every once in a while a teacher would talk about the coming end of the century, and what it would be like in the new century.  I couldn't imagine it because it seemed like it was so far away in the future and  I would be so old by that time.  Now I am that old + 11 more years, right!  Usually I don't feel as old as I thought I would, but there are some days I wonder where the time went!!

Sue
When you get older time goes fast I saw 60 years of the last century, and time was never thought about when i was young then later on there was a time in my life when i wondered if i would ever see the next day but i did,
Now as i get really old i do not think about time i just carry on living and doing the things which i like best, still putting in as much effort into the sports i love Pigeons and the Dog sport, and just as competitive as i was all those years ago, I guess that light will only fade when i go

You're absolutely right, Steve,  and there are some big advantages too, such as having more time to put into the stuff we love, and appreciating it more.  One thing I remind myself of when I catch myself a little bit wistful about wasted youth, is getting older sure as hell beats the alternative!!!!!!
