Or you can do the same as most folks these days, and have your vet make copies of the x-rays at the time they're taken. :) That way your vet gets to keep a copy on file for future reference, PennHIP gets their films, OFA gets theirs, and you can even have one to keep for yourself.

Or for an extra $5.00 you can have the x-ray returned to you.
There is no place on the form for this though. Even though they told me they couldn't say for sure if I'd get it, I faxed a request for it along with a CC # with authorization to charge me the $5.00.
X-rays arrived on my doorstep!
It was very nice to have the elbow x-rays to take to the ortho vet.
