When I was born, my parents were not given a birth certificate.  My mother gave me a certificate, which, at the time, was proof of birth, but it was a white paper listing the information.  When I applied for a passport, I was required to file a raised seal copy of my birth certificate, for which I had to apply.  The title at the top of my official copy is "Certificate of birth", with birth date, file date (4 days after my birth) and issue date.  So, I didn't have a copy of my birth certificate until I was in my mid 30s and there is no way for me to obtain the "original" that's filed with the state.

I have a certified copy, as well as the blue sheet original ( multi-colored carbon). So what?

it is not at all far fetched. there need not have been any planning. other than the kennedys ,i don't think any other familys had any idea a son or daughter may be president and i am sure the obamas' didn't either.
i do think it was and is very probable that he was born in kenya, lived there with his parents for a couple months or more.
later traveling to hawaii and never thinking this day may come ,they forgot.....!
now, where was he born? what hospital was he born in? what doctor delivered him?
hell, any good printer can print up anything and proof of live birth sure the hell isn't a birth cert.
why don't anyone know the answer to the above 3 questions.!?

Okay, so the long-form birth certificate has been released. I doubt it will satisfy the bothers, but does show how foolish this idiocy is and has been. Happy now? Probably not!:-)
