Lining up vet for emergency--distance vs alleged expertise - Page 2

DKiah! Have you ever had a chance to go to Myra's Seminars? She is awesome! She just lives across the bridge from me here in Washington. I have been to her seminars two times in the last 10 years. I just got her most recent book called " Advanced Reproduction and Puppy care. The Seminar." It just came out this year. Myra uses the same repro vet that I now use and much of the information that helped her work in putting the book together came through our repro specialist. I actually learned of my repro vet as a result of Myra's recommendation.  I could not be more fortunate in my own breeding program then to have had a mentor as Myra. She is still traveling around the country doing her seminars and selling her books and if you have never had a chance to go to one of them.... humble as they are. You must go! It is impossible not to leave feeling like you just were in the presence of one of the greatest people you will ever meet.

Yes Myra's books are some of the best out there and they are written in an easy way to understand as well as written with much passion from her own experiences.  Dogwise also carries her books at all of their events as well as for online purchase. Another repro book I like is " The Whelping and Rearing of puppies by Muriel P. Lee.

Savant-Harris....  Yep most likely old age.... don't feel bad, just bought my first pair of reading glasses after realizing my arm length was not going to get any longer.
