Shaila has a point. There could be multiple 'sires'.
Lifespan for achondroplastic dwarfs is so far as I am aware predominantly normal. Though I think it can depend on the severity of the 'bowing' of the legs as to whether surgery is required at some point. Most of the short legged breeds were derived from Achondroplastic animals and bred for that feature, and some of those do have 'queen anne legs'. Hopefully your little guy won't have any problems.
Does he have any issues with his movement?
