Goodwink, No offense was taken. They have a lot of Sch up here but the trainers I am not to impressed with. I took my Bouvier there one time to be tested and their facility was less then average and not very big. I was not impressed at all. You ask why I changed breeds. Its simple really and I know I am going to probably get a lot of flack for saying it. But if you compare the Bouvier to the German Shepherd today there is no comparison. Yes the GSD is faster and will learn easier then the Bouvier becuase where the GSD will do to please the Bouvier takes a stearner hand and he will think before he reacts. By that I mean if you watch closely when you give a command you can almost see the thought process run through their heads. They were bred to be independant thinkers so they could work the filds on their own. Took me a few years to figure that out becuase like most I though they were just being stuborne. I like the structure of the Bouvier a lot better as well. They are more solid structurally. I have both Belgium and Dutch lines as well as Canadian and French. The Belgium and Dutch seem to breed a smaller dog, quicker and more agile then the other but size does have its advantage as well. Especially when you compare bites. Laregr head and larger jaw make for a much better bite. So all in all I just prefer the Bouvier. Reminds me more of the German Shepherd of 30 years ago then todays dogs do.
