The first video covers the basics pretty well and this is the method used in Am. s/l specialty shows. At a show, the owner would be in front of the dog, getting attention as the handler stacked and controlled the dog. For a nice picture, a photographer is also needed, making it a 3 person effort.

The 2'nd video shows the method generally used in the American all breed ring. The dog is trained to stack for bait. The difference is the GSD does not stack 4 square, as most dogs do.

Hi Hachiko,

I posted this earlier, maybe it will help.

Conformation ring training is easy as compared to Sch., Obe.,Agilty, Tracking ,etc.
To teach your dog to pull.
1) Ensure your lead is clipped on to the dead ring on the chocker or use a collar.
2) Apply a little tension on the lead, by pulling back while heeling your dog,the dog will move
forward or pull forward. When he does this, praise and encourage, while maintaining the tension .
OR
3) Have someone else handle your dog , while you are walking or running in front ,calling your dog
or use a whistle. When the dog moves forward ,the handler uses the command "PULL"and
encourages the dog to pull.
4) sometimes we let the dog see us go in the blind, calling the dog,.This will encourage the dog to
pull to get to you ,when he is approx .10 meters(33.0 ft.) the handler lets go,the dog rushes to
find you and gets it's reward. Repeat this many times until the dog pulls on command.

STACKING THE DOG
1) Walk the dog into position, place your right palm against it's forechest to stop it from moving
forward. Make sure both front feet are in line, pointing forward and the foreleg is perpendicular
to the ground. If they are not, place them correctly by placing the upperarm in your palm,
lifting and placing the foot correctly.

2) To place the hindlegs correctly, first place the right hind slighty forward,by holding the hock
lifting it ,and guiding it into position below the knee as it comes down.

3) now leaning/reaching over the dog, using your left hand lift the left hind  leg, just above the hock joint
and place it slighty back so the hock is perpendicular to the ground.

Please note that the dog ,
1) must be standing balanced all the time. if not the dog will move to maintain balance.
2) A low level of attraction will be of help, to distract him from what you are doing
and to get his expression up.

THE BITE
1) Place your right palm under the lower jaw and your left palm on the muzzle,
using only your thumb and forefinger, lift the upper lips and lower the lower lips
to show the bite.Do this while keeping the mouth closed.Use only minimum force,
and a lot of praise.

MOVEMENT
1) The G S D's Trots ,moving the left front leg and the opposite right hind leg, forward at the
same time. This shows the fore reach ,the hind drive and the strength of the back in
movement
.
The dog should not pace. (moving both limbs on the same side, at the same time ).
Hope the above helps

There was an excellent video clip posted earlier by someone else ,
I don't know how to locate it ,maybe others can help.
