It's funny I would have picked VA2 Lex Preußenblut, What female would you pick from today if any? It really doesn't matter what time frame I just said 1930 - 1950 because I know after the 50's there were some pritty significated changes to the breed.

Just to clear things up about Car Policia. He was NOT dyplastic, and his hips were certified. He was a working police dog until the age of 11. This information comes from a very reputable breeder who has SEEN him and had a litter out of him. All pups hips and elbows were clear and 4 out of 5 were titled, the other was a working bomb dog.
As I said before Car Policia was an awesome dog and a great representation of the breed.

Flora, a very typey Canto daughter whose sire was linebred on Lex, produced males and females who went on to be outstanding producers themselves. Look at her grandpuppies and what they went on to produce, some pillars of the breed there.
