Art z Lipin....anyone know...... - Page 2

I would consider "Bohemia Abakan" an outside breeding.  None under the czech registries CKS or CMKU.  All of his breedings I find are within the Czech Republic.

I think I may have a bitch from Art z Lipin's last breeding.   I'll look up the paperwork when I get home.

Daryl, I wasn't talking about outside Czech. I was regarding to births that were not owned by the z Lipin kennel as being out aide breedings. Vickie

Art had no czech breeding announcements that I could find later than his breeding to Zina zPS, and according to the breeder's website, that was his last litter, to an outside bitch, one of which pups was Dragon, who went to kennel ze Stribrneho kamene (www.artzlipin.cz) owned by Jana and Milan Hoøejší.

30thApril 2004 WELCOME the DRAGON !!
Let me introduce a new member of our family – (he will be our last new dog for long time, I think). It is one puppy from the last Art´s litter – a male, and his name is DRAGON Bohemia Abakan. His mother is Zina z Pohranicni straze. This breeding we made at bad times, Art couldn´t walk not more than a few steps and the litter were whelped one week before his death. In the litter were 8 nice puppies, but unfortunatelly their mother lost a milk next day and couldn´t feed them. After that, had followed two horrible weeks with feeding and taking care every second hour. 3 puppies we lost, just two males and three females stayed alive. Our Dragon is doing well now, and for us he is shortly the last ART. His pictures you can find in a section „Our males“.

I have copies of all of Dragon's paperwork, and yes, his date of birth is listed as January 31, 2004.  I've had the pleasure of taking care of Dragon for 7 months in 2009, and personally returning him to his owner, and my good friend, Jana Horejsi.  Dragon was collected and frozen semen is available here in the US.  

Dragon is currently competing in the youth trials with his handler, in the Czech Republic, and placed 2nd in the 2010 Czech National IPO2 Championships last August.  First place was Jana's daughter, Janicka and Niki ze Stribrneho kamene.  Another top dog from their kennel is Max ze Stribrneho kamene, who with his handler, Sean O'Kane, placed 1st at the 2010 USA Nationals. There are several other top competition dogs here in the US from their kennel.

Max (& handler) are making quite a name for themselves.

Yes, being able to compete in the FCI Championships in Finland last year, and Max's littermate, Manolo placed 8th at the 2010 DVG Championships with his handler.  Nimh with Debbie Penserio has also done very well.  Several new puppies have come to the US last year, so I'm sure we'll be seeing many more great dogs from this super kennel.

I aquired a female that is said to be out of Art's last litter.  I am still waiting on her paperwork.
