I place the palm of my hand under the puppies jaw and my thumb as deep into his throat as possible and press down while gently holding his jaw still. He will gag and let go.....after a week or so, he will associate biting with gagging and will quit.
Definately sign up with an obedience class. Call the different training facilities around and find one that does clicker training. Its fun and easy and great for a family pet. It gives you a basis to do any trainng you want to do later......
Make sure he has plenty of things to chew on, when they start teething they want to chew on enything they can get their mouths on.
