I am truely sorry to hear about your loss. they are too soon taken from us and it breaks my heartt to see one go!

I am so sorry for your loss and the big hole such a loss puts in your life and heart. I had to euthanize my Loki in November due to health issues and I miss him terribly. I will share with you what my grandmother told me in hopes it helps a teensy bit:

Dogs are guardian angels sent here by God to learn about us. When they have learned what God wants them to, God calls them home so they can begin their work. They are born knowing what it takes us a life time to learn and that is why their lives are much shorter. They die with their eyes open because they want to see the wonders of heaven and God again.

She also said if you ever want to know how God sees you, look into the eyes of your dog.

I am tearing up as I write this. I hope you are ok. Here is my boy
