anyone willing to drive to go get this dog and keep her until arrangements for transport can be made, please do so. Make a phone call to make sure she's still there, tell them you are coming and go. Get her. The transport/permanent caretaker arrangements can be made after - the first step is getting her out of there and safe. My contact info is eichenluft@aol.com I can't help with pulling/ transport but am working on that - I can take this dog and keep her safe until adoption though.

Jennifer, I think it's on you. As Molly said, if you can go get her...call to make arrangements to pick her up and go. Now! Bless your heart for being able to help out. I can't bear to look at her poor confused face...where are my people and why am I here?

Just so all y'all know, GSRA is probably already working on this girl. Not much gets by that rescue.

Whats the secret of getting a dog out of the shelter quick without actual adopting it? As I got my schnoodle they made me jump through hoops, needing references from neighbors and vet, and my husband had to come to the shelter to meet the dog as well.

Are there any updates on her?Jennifer, I think I may be closer than you and I may be able to pick her up.
Molly, what would be the details on this process?

No secret Elkoorr.
A 501c3 rescue with a good reputation and working relationship with shelters, AC's, vets and a bunch of volunteers that are willing to do whatever it takes to get the dogs out.
Update on the bicolor girl from checking my email. Local rescue is aware of her and hopefully they will be able to pull her. PTS date is tomorrow. Being an owner surrender, she wasn't given much time. She is only 11 months old.
