Don, the rules on CL says that there are no animal sales...adoptions only with a minimum re-homing fee.

CL does not allow pets (dogs and cats) to be sold. Only rescues.......... At least that is the way it is set up in the Northwest.

Rules for posting on CL states reasonable rehome fee. plus no animal SALES or BREEDING. they are supposed to be used for adoptions and shelters, not a free ad base for breeders.

i guess i am more concerned about what's going to happen to the dog. i could give a shit where she's advertised. c.l. or pdb makes no diffderence to me. i just hope someone can take the girl and do right by her. she's well bred and should be good for something. also hope she doesn't end up in an inactive pet home. could spell trouble for her. keep the updates coming. hope this one turns out well.

Especially a $1,000 "re-homing fee," as is the case here.
Of course it's a Pet For Sale ad, but Craigslist probably just looks the other way.

I hate it that the dog is on CL! It looks bad for me, IMO and apparently the OP was trying to make a little stab as well and I am not the only one who took saw it that way either! If I could afford it I would go get this girl so that she did not fall into the wrong kind of home. Her owner said she had good tracking, good obedience and good ball drive. The dog is located near Oklahoma City actually and not in Dallas.
I have my financial quiver full with the rescue girl I recently took in.
