Very pretty girl.....Enjoy her, and welcome to the PDB family....

You're not going to breed her? According to this website: http://www.delcotampa.com/dogs/index.html it says " 'Dicee' is my personal project, scheduled for future AKC shows, and already holding a waiting list for her babies." And that dog is the same Dicee, right? Anyway, that sounded rude, sorry, don't mean to offened. I'm just confused. I'm a newbie, too, in dogs, but I'd say that the pedigree looks decent. :)

The original poster's dog is the puppy on the site. Dicee is the OP's dog's dam. That site looks to be the breeder.

Ahhh, I knew I was missing something. Thanks for the clarifaction. :D Too sleeping from Black Friday shopping, lol. Anyhoo, good looking pup, and, as I said before, looks like a pretty good pedigree to me.

Here's the link to the sire's pedigree: www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/pedigree/646841.html
Since the dam's name says 'of' instead of 'von' or 'vom', I am guessing she is an American showline dog. She is not registered on this site.

Hello again and thank you so much for your assistance. My puppy sure looks like her father Poldi. I didn't know about the "of" meaning something different. I certainly have much to learn. Since we are not going to breed her, I won't have to worry about offspring, etc. etc. However, it is very nice to know her lineage. I found the Dam's pedigree so I have that info, even though I don't know what all that means. I will start reading more about GSDs and bloodlines just because I'm a person who wants to know. Now, we have the job of training her to leave the chickens alone. She does have a very strong sense of family and her temperament is MELLOW. For a puppy her age, she is calm, sweet and also full of fun. We have been taking her out at least twice a week to public places where she can meet people. She does so well with all ages and has not shown any sign of aggression or fear. She does show some fear of strange dogs in stores like Petco. They had a Pug rescue group there and she barked and hid behind my legs when the dogs approached her. The lady was very nice and said to let them be near each other for a few minutes. After a while my puppy sniffed some butts and was much better. I guess I'll have to do more training with other dogs.

Jane, 'of' and 'vom/von' mean the same thing. It's just that 'vom/von' is German, and is usually only given to dogs of pure German lineage. The American version of the German Shepherd is quite different from the German, and has become something of a joke, as most of them are no longer capable of doing the work the dogs were originally bred for, such as herding, Schutzhund and protection or police work.
A little tidbit to get you started: Sch1, 2 or 3 are the different schutzhund degrees, which means the dog has passed a test of its ability to track, do obedience and protection.. Kkl 1 or 2 means the dog has been evaluated by an official of the German Shepherd club in Germany, the SV (Verein fur Deutsche Schaeferhunde). This test is called the koer, and is a test of breed worthiness. At the end of the evaluation, if it passes, the dog is awarded koerclasse 1 (highly recommended for breeding) or koerclasse 2 (recommended for breeding, but with possible restrictions, due to minor faults.)
If the dog's registraton number starts with SZ, it is registered in Germany. The AKC numbers generally start with two letters.
Here is a guide to what some of the other abbreviations mean: www.angesgardiens.ca/ANG/Glossary.htm
