The same with the German Shepherd, although both are in the same country but by blood there is still a major difference between West and former East.

I don't have use for yet another forum but there are folks who *Only* breed West German Working lines and folks who *Only* breed Czech / DDR lines and some folks who do intermingle the three.... ..and there are some clear differences in type both physically and temperament-wise between all 3 .... I imagine there may continue to be some separation by type as long as people differentie between a sport dog and a more civil dog, no?
