I've done a lot of fostering (long and short term) and added pups to my house at all different times. I really liked the BEST adding a pup when the youngest one in the house was about 18 -24 mos. Then their house and crate training, and obedience foundation is pretty well set, strongly bonded with me, and the can be a good influence on the new pup but still young enough to want to play and help 'babysit' with my supervision.
