43 today here in North Idaho and RAINING!!!  Snow levels are supposed to descend to 3500 feet overnight, and a few passes got snow today.  Getting colder and wetter here everyday, mud is taking over, and I miss the SUN!  It's hard getting my oldest daughter up for school at 7 and it still being almost dark.

The first snow to stay for the year is predicted to fall around November 11, I guess we'll see.  Sunshine every day until then wouldn't bother me a bit!  I'm not ready to deal with snow yet...Tell you what, Nona...I'll send you some cool, you send me a few degrees of heat, and we'll both be happy!

Tingiesandtails, we are located in southern Louisiana.... HOT AND MUGGY!!  Our nighttime lows only drop to the mid 70's.   We are waiting for a cool front to cool us down to the upper 70's daytime highs and mid 50's for nighttime lows for Wednesday thru Friday.  Than back up in the 80's for the weekend...We are going to enjoy it while it lasts..... About a month ago it cooled down to the mid 70's for daytime highs and upper 50's for nighttime lows..That lasted for about a week.  Than back up to where we are now..... So Please send us some of that Canadian cold air...Of course by the time it gets here, its just cool, but that will do..

I woke up at 550 this morning and it was in the mid 70s here.  Winds 20-30 mph with gusts over 40 at certain times......expected to get even stronger as the storm front moves through today.  They're expecting some nasty storms and wind gusts over 60 mph at times.

Oh wow, muggy...I'd like some moisture, but not that much, Nona! Hehe, I'll send you some of that air!
I heard about the Tornado in the Midwest,GSD guy, hope you roped everything down there....
Thanks Lady Frost, my puppy is almost 5 months old - she loved to track before the snow, but she was so surprised to actually SEE all the tracks in the snow yesterday, she just had her nose down the entire walk except for that photo...and of course try to play with those puffs of snow that fly up whenever she does a step - it is just too cute!
Well, now we have to stop practicing tracking until spring thaw unless that fluff melts away one more time before it stays until April...

Tingiesandtails the storms don't seem to be as bad as they said they would be.  Just hard rain mostly and some strong winds.  It's not completely over, but I was expecting something more.  We're actually in middle TN.  November is our "2nd tornado season" though

As soon as I said the storms don't seem to be as bad as they said they would they say there are tornado warnings for a few different counties.
