I am not expert on the breed, but many years ago one of my best friends did have pit bulls....NONE of girls had to be strapped or restrained to be bred.....But than they were not fighting dogs.....they were just good ole Purple Ribbon Pit Bulls.....OF course Purple Ribbon pits back than were the same as American showline Shepherds are considered today....They were built correctly and were competing in pulling contest ONLY......I am not sure how things are done today.... I would never breed a bitch that would have to be put through such extremes to get bred....JMO

The add must have been changed because when I posted earlier, you could clearly see both dogs being bred. This morning, the post has expired. Disgusting caries a wide range of meaning. I guess I meant disturbing because if a dog can't naturally breed without being strapped up like what the photo shows, then the dog shouldn't be bred. Dog aggression would be the reason for strapping up a dog like that....who the hell wants a pup from an aggressive parent? Also, in the ad, it was clear the the black pit had scars all over it. The website shows terrible photos of their dogs and (to me) poor breeding ethics.
But to each his own. Again, takes all kinds of people to make our world go around.
