Wanderer, That was beautifully written and very touching. I think I could say the exact same thing (except for the car racing and fishing :) ),but couldn't write it as well as you did. Thank you for sharing.

Fisherman's Prayer

God grant that I may live to fish

My granma used to sing this silly ditty...
"If I should die before I wake,
Tell my sis to quickly bake
A really deep dark chocolate cake
And serve it to all who are at my wake
Especially the devil so he'll make
A teeny little bitty mistake
And not pack up my soul to take
So I'll get to go to Heaven!"

I wonder if that was the start of my love of chocolate?
