Phil, LOL. If I made it smaller, it got blurry, as I posted in another thread. Yeah, Juriga did it. She gave him quite a hard time and he was just about to give up, but I'm sure glad he gave it one more shot w/out anesthesia.

Thanks, all. "Good" is great to get in the mail..."fair" is even ok...but "excellent" really brightens up your day;-)

Makes that gamble all worthwhile;-)

Jacko, do you have a point?

What did you do, scour the OFA website? Elbows weren't done.  Not really an Earth shattering discovery.

I did tell him; I asked him to please, please, not hold it against me that you referred me. He took pity on me and gave me a deal.

Michele, LOL. My bf couldn't quite understand my excitement. I think you have to have suffered a few hip heartbreaks to really "get" it.

YR- I may do her elbows down the road if I breed her, but I figured her hips were more likely to be bad, so why pay for elbows too if her hips were bad? This was a total gamble; I knew her temperament was good, but she's over 3 years old and never xrayed...and was overweight, and used to bike miles and miles per day (well, her people rode the bike- she ran;-))

I also think elbow problems tend to show up, and show up early, whereas hips can be terrible and you have no indication for several years sometimes. Not always, but in the elbow problems I've seen, it was always a puppy and it was pronounced, even in "mild" cases of ED.
