They said it was a "harvest" moon, last night. Saw it for a moment, then the clouds rolled in. I think I've heard a rabbit scream, does it sound like a strangling child? My DH saw a coyote pup and a large cat facing off the other day. Unfortunately my cat took a beating the other night, something chewed him, pretty much everywhere. Doing okay, now though, slathered him in neosporin.
The dog always checks the perimeters at night, that's his job. And he likes it. Wish he'd get that woodchuck who keeps digging ankle-breaking holes. Some how the wild animals seem to know just where the wire for the e-fence is, and they dig accordingly, just out of his reach.

I like to walk at night with dogs. It always makes me appreciate dogs incredible senses and instincts that I do not share. More than any other time I am always looking to him for clues as to what is out there and how to be. Dogs are cool.

My dogs howl everytime we have a full moon,I walk them in the night of the full moon, and we head up the hills at the back of the house. Its some experience ,no lstreet lights where i live,no traffic really primal.I love to watch thedogs especially when the group howl starts up.

I'm very lucky this year as we're down at the beach for the Harvest Moon tonight. It was gorgeous on the water last night, can't wait to take the dog down for a walk tonight!

Night becomes day..
It is like another world, if you ever have the time and are up late to just go out and feel what it has to offer.
I didn't even get a mosquito bite.
I hope everyone at least has a look, if you can be still, and clear your thoughts, you'd be surprised at what it can offer.
Moons.
