I agree with Dominique that a moderator shouldn't post on the board but only in an ideal world.
My guess is that the moderators give up time for free so therefore.................thanks guys.
It's a bit churlish to criticise them.
Dominique, start your own board maybe.
A bit like screaming at the ref at an amateur football game. No ref, no game. No moderator, no board.

Chris:
The "ref" is not allowed to take of his/her hat and kick the players.
VomLandholz:
Thank you.

I do not agree that a moderator should not be able to post also. I am a moderator on another forum and am able to activly participate as well as moderate. Things do at times get heated but nothing like the flaming and direct attacking that can occur here. Heated arguments are often let run their course with out removel. However, that is heated arguments, not flaming attacks. Some people have been banned from the board I help moderate, a couple warnings and they are out. If people would not use this board for personnel vendettas, and stupid comments, there would not be an issue of conflict of interest.
I think the current format is working and thank the moderators for the great job they are doing.

If I understand this right, that a moderator is removing posts for PERSONAL reasons, but is then signing on under a different name and making a deflamatory statement against a kennel,a dog, or a person, and that post is remaining for all to see then I agree with Dominique -
Fair is fair for EVERYONE, rules are rules for EVERYONE as we all know this board has at times become a venue for personal vendettas. Keep up the good job Domininque and thanks for taking the time to moderator fairly.

Right GSDLuvr,
There was a post the other day about two current
Moderators. I was fortunate enough to see them
before they were deleted.
Dominique, I did find that interesting. There have been MANY inputs about the first Moederator in the past two years, but since that person got that position
they have all been deleted, and they were not positive at all. How funny is that? Things that make you go Hmm?
Things sgould be very interesting here before long with the NEWEST of them all too!

I too saw the posts the other day before they were deleted. I thought the posts were uncalled for and were rightly deleted. The recent activity on the forum has been good reading. It was getting to off track with all the personnal attacks before.

There has been virtually NO activity on this forum... not so sure if that can be called progress.
