Yup, lost me on dogs don't play and dogs don't fear.

Dogs and people share those two things (and many more!) in common! Not sure what planet this guys is from?

I agree, dogs do play. Seen it many times. On purpose, deliberate, for no other reason except it was fun. That's play.
