         One of the big questions they will ask you when you
get to heaven..... Were you to good to your German shepherd?

Some people will say, YES!! ...my dog knew me better than anyone.

Thanks everyone for such heartwarming comments. I adore our new baby, and I'm not consciously thnking about my old boy, but I realise now that unconscously/subconsciously I have been. I think I was too upset about him to get properly upset and keep thinking about him, so I blocked it somehow. It's good to be sad now and think of him and I know it will help me appreciate my gorgeous new one even more than I already do. One thing I do notice is that I'm cherishing his youth even more than with the others. Bob, good one indeed - "and there's a rose in the fisted glove...". Would add a pic to round things off but for some reason I can't!
