Not at all surprised to see that NONE OF THE SCOTTISH CLUBS HAD THE BALLS TO ATTEND - after all their squealing and squawking about signing and us that didn't being the baddies and the scum of the earth for as they quoted "trying to kill off their Clubs" - what a load of old bollocks.
As you are all saying maybe they are having second thoughts now that the WUSV/SV Event system is coming into play and after the response the League got for their Event they don't know what way to turn.
Why sign if you had no intentions of meeting with the KC - I call that two faced - but then aren't all the Clubs in Scotland and may others just that - just as long as they can chunter along at a snail's pace and living in the past - time they opened their eyes to the future.
Enough said I think - onwards and upwards for the new style of Showing in the UK - the correct way.

Lets be honest, how often have *all* the clubs turned up at Breed Council meetings?

Of course Sth Western would be in attendance after all its representative was one of the speakers. Kent , Sats and Essex are all southern based clubs, so not much effort or hardship required there to attend. Sheffield and BAGSD could have been represented by the same person, the KC's regular fly on the wall at BC meetings albeit not able to attend his own clubs AGM's. Derby and Birmingham are both aptly situated in relation to Stoneleigh, HOV could have been the same rep as the BC with Bolton, Preston and Nrth Wales all been on the right side of the country for motorway access to Stoneleigh.
All in all , there were no surprises to me about the clubs that bothered to attend, obviously their committee must feel the need to be taught how to judge and recognise unsoundness and need the benefit of GG;s experience in such matters! lol
As for the KC dropping the word Alsatian, now that's the most hillarious thing of all. Just how long are they going to continue dangling that old carrott (which must be both black and shrivelled by now) to keep your attention? Are there still those who actually believe in the KC's fairy tales? RAOTFLMHO Still it takes all sorts ... as they say.

12 = a lot less than half of *all* the clubs
by my simple mathematical capabilities the minority in the breed are now those that signed and then could be bothered to attend.
The majority are moving forward and are organising their own shows with health tested dogs.
Has anybody any 'news' from this meeting other than the the KC 'may write' to ask if clubs want to drop the word alsatian

i hope all the members of the clubs that could not be bothered to turn up for this meeting will question their committee's as to why not As for the club i am a member of( and one of the so called rebel 6) i will leave the questions to the members who voted for signing but i very much doubt that any one will ask why they sent no one to this meeting.

Therefore only 11 clubs were represented.
The meeting was in Clarges Street London.

21 clubs could have attended. 12 (or 11 even) showed up. To me this is more than half.
For some people this was not simply about an all costs paid away day.
This meeting would have been in no way easy or even a day trip out for the Scottish clubs who have been branded as 2 faced amongst other insults. Think about it, it'd probably involve an over night stay for some people.
If club members were *so* bothered about having a representative attend from their own club, then perhaps they could have made it their business to find out who was going, and offer to attend themselves if there was a short fall in numbers but I dont suppose that anyone did.
Its laughable that you'd even be interested in what was discussed at this meeting when you voted yourself out of being invited.
