Is this board to help educate people or criticize people's lack of knowledge...Instead of jumping on this person, why not explain what is the proper way to handle things, or make suggestions.....

Before opening mouths and criticize, how about asking questions...Does anyone know anything about the dog? ANYTHING AT ALL???? Maybe this dog is worthy of breeding....Does anyone know this person at all?  Is this person or post legit?    Asking questions is the only way to find out....

I am not saying that every person who owns a GSD should be wanting to breed just because they want a puppy....Since the poster said they don't care about puppies, but only wanted a puppy, the proper thing to do might be suggest buying a puppy.....
All I am saying is that there are other ways to handle the OP besides Criticizing.  Remember, not everybody is as educated as some on here think they are.....

JUST MY OPINION

Lucky123, I am sending you a PM...

I was just thinking the same thing, Moons.

Keith and Moons, I was thinking the same thing also. But lets try giving the poster the benefit of the doubt...If they really turn out to be a troll, it won't be long before their true colors are revealed....Have you noticed how many new members sign on and post once or twice and we never hear from them again......Generally it happens when someone is backed up against the wall and they feel the need to create another user name...That has happened alot recently..If this person is genuine, hopefully they will continue to post here. If not, this one also will  silently slip away....

In selecting a stud the pedigree would come in very handy and would seem to be the next phase to cover.

If this poster was genuine.

So............. Lucky,
What is the dogs pedigree?
Is it in the database?
I like what I see, now it's time to know what I'm looking at.

Your move.

I believe the OP said they just wanted "their" puppy to be happy, not that they wanted to keep one.  Sorry, but I for one am somewhat old school, I show no sympathy for ignorance.  IMO with all of the people that post here that are involved with rescues, why should I feel sorry for someone who just wants to let their little Buster have unprotected sex?  I also don't think that every kid that plays baseball should get a trophy.  If you want to learn more about the German Shepherd dog, go find a club/group or breeder in your area and "talk" and watch, don't just think that you will learn about the animal over the internet.

Moon. A pedigree means he has all of his papers that he needs. We don't want to adopt a puppy. Are Dog just hasen't been as playful with our kids anymore. And he is only 5 years old.  We thought a girlfriend would bring back his confidence. All though he loves playing ball he hates getting them!

OK Moons, time for educating now......
