Very nice dogs everyone.
I'm trying to learn all I can about GSD genetics. I've only scratched the surface....something tells me it's going to take many a year before I know enough to satisfy my thrist for knowledge.
How rare is it to come across an "outcross" in working line GSD. And please, correct me if I'm wrong: an outcross is a dog with no linebreeding, right?

Out-crosses are not unusual, but they are best if only done for one generation. The farther you go, the less predictible the progeny.
