ah - they allow long-coats?  Thats' great - good for the new owner, obviously they are happy and proud of their new dog, I bet they can't walk 5 feet before they are stopped by admirers - really beautiful dog.

To clarify something here--yes the UKC puts up longcoats but if you read their standard it claims it is a fault.......................I don't think the average judge knowns the standard very well--at a show I was at a shepherd had 1/2 a tail and the judge had to look it up............

She sure is a gorgeous dog.  Congrats and kudos to the person who adopted her! This one of those happy endings that has to make you feel great Steph :)

Couldn't keep the kids from letting the dogs out? Then dump the kids not the dog or better yet try a little corporal punishment pound there ass. Good luck Steph. She is pretty.

Sorry Bob I have to disagree.  Teach the parents how to be responsible dog owners.

My six year old is very consciencous about going in and out of doors so as not to let the dogs out/in but he's 6, weighs 50lbs and if 70lbs of adult male shepherd decides he's bowling out the door come hell or high water, my son's hard pressed to stop him.

So it's my job as a parent/dog owner to teach my dog to respect the door, no matter who is coming in or going out it.   Typical story of the owners failing to teach their dog basic manners.

I'm confused here.  Why does it say she's not fixed?  If she's in a rescue?  Are you saying you run a rescue but you're selling a breeding female???

by Bob McKown on 18 October 2010 - 14:10

Typical owners not taking responsibility for there inactions, The dogs never wrong the owners are. Children living in a house with dogs have to be taught as much as the dogs are taught.

Bob I agree with you wholeheartedly. I would have trained the kids better too...
It is the parents fault, for not training their kids AND the dog better...
She is very smart....she did every thing I asked of her.

Doberdoodle, READ THE ORIGINAL POST!!!

Thanks Starrchar and all, she really was a great dog and one worthy of helping out the breed, she had a wonderful temperament and gorgeous confirmation....

Her new owner is very proud of her...

First of all YOU need to go to the SV webside and read the NEW AKNOWLEDGEMENT AND STANDARTS ABOUT THE LONG & STOCKCOATS BY THE SV before you say what you said above.
