Which "top" breeders are selling pups with no tattoo or no microchip? Ask the owner to get a second opinion, make sur ethe vet verifies the chip/tattoo, then send them their new dog.

The only reason breeders ask for the original dog is so they won't have to replace it. And for those buyers who care so little that they would ship off their defective dog for their shiny new one...well, I hope I never sell to a person who cares so little.

Terry, Sorry that you are having such bad luck. That is terrible... 

I am sure that the parents of these two dogs have been titled, have cleared HD rating, and have been proven to be breed worthy......But yet, here is one dog that has failed the hips at 22 months.. The the other dog was put down at 18 months......HUMMMMMM, Guess that blows the theory of breeding only dogs that have been proven breed worthy, for the betterment of the breed....
