Bored..thought I'd share training pics, added a few more - Page 2

Indi is doing extremely well and my helper is really doing a great job with them all! He made a nice comment that  he thinks Indi is going to be a very nice bitch :-)
I hope to get some video to share too. I think that will be a valuable training tool for me, to see my mistakes and where I need improvement.
Galan is doing well...The session after this one he was introduced to the blinds, or I should say the helper in the blinds, not running them yet.... He is doing the longbite off leash as the final before he gets put up for the night and shows no hesitation at all...
BUT with the blinds, he does seem a bit insecure. Not too bad, but he does back up some, and lay down and bark, so we'll be working on that.... He's also a bit dirty, but lets go of the sleeve with a quick Pfui!
This part of protection is all new to him, so I am very pleased with him so far and have confidence that my helper will bring up Galan's in no time. That was the first time, so I am hoping the next time will be a little better ;-)

Re-pulled my shoulder at work, and its killing me...I'm smothered in Bengay...and my mean friend is forcing me to train tonight anyway since Galan will be going for his BH is Sept.
Hopefully I'll be thanking her later :-)

Thanks for the compliments. They are having so much fun and you called it, I am having a blast with these wild dogs LOL

Stacy, you live in Vegas? Raised my kids for a few years in Henderson, worked at Sunrise Hospital, loved it there! I miss it, **sigh**  Lived on Painted Rose Lane, in a little community off of WigWam. (I think, it's been a while!) Love your dogs, too!  Wish there had been Schutzhund in Vegas when I was there, back in the early '90's! jackie harris

Yes I am in Vegas, but hopefully some day (sooner rather than later) we can get back to Texas. I miss the country...
My husband and I came here for work but now we're ready to go home.
I like Henderson much better than Vegas, but we rent our house from my father in law so didn't have much of a choice as to where we moved..
It is hard to travel to train. There is only one official club right now directly in Vegas (maybe 2 but if it's official yet, I don't know) We are also working on maybe starting another one.  There are also a few private "groups" to train with, which is nice and give us and our dogs some variety of fields and training techniques.
