I tend to think that he may be a long coat but it is a bit early to tell. He does have the tell-tale tufts of hair on the ears and upper part of the head, but I do not see it pronounced anywhere else.

I've had a puppy that was perhaps fuzzier than this one, and she grew to have a correct stock coat. I would not be alarmed at this point in his life, because he appears to be otherwise correct and happy.

Yes...it is a very cute Long Stock Coated puppy.
As the "coaties" grow.....the body hair looks shorter (as the coat changes)...but the full, longer coat will be more present as it matures.
Not all coated dogs have body hair that looks like "wooly bullies".....some actually have nice, thick, straight coats...with a little longer "fringe" around the rear, tail, legs and underline.
But the ear hair is always present.

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE COMPLIMENTS, I'm glad to hear that Panter probably grow in to a longcoated gsd couse' I'm a big fan of it. The breeder told me that he will have a little bit longer hair,but as he grows it looks to me he's gonna be just as I wish :-)))) Offcourse,I want for him to be healthy and cheerfoul in the first place,I just wanted to know does it my oppinion matches whit someone who's.THANKS ALOT FOR THE EXPLANATIONS :-)))

What happened to the photo? Is it my computer or has the photo been removed from both this thread and the link you provided? I want to see this cute LC pup! IMO there is nothing cuter that a long coated pup :)
