Remember last years Confederations Cup ?? The USA beat Spain and up a whoppin 2-0 with Brazil. That was impressive. So under the circumstances of the past year, the USA has a better shot than England to say the least. Sorry.
I'm sure the die-hards supporters of USA the American Outlaws, would also disagree with England winning that FIFA World Cup this year. Ha Ha Ha
Spain
Brazil
USA
Holland ... not necessarily that order.

GO GO GO USA !!!

ABE all the way, they won the world cup in 66 and us Scots have never heard the bloody end of it.The funny thing about it we played them in 67 and beat them 3-2 I've got the match on dvd,so that made us world champions eh eh.

Don't take it personally i wouldn't expect an englishmen to support us Scots at anything, its called rivalry,by the way i think your Italian manager will be drooping your keeper cos that was a HOWLER.And remember the beautiful game was invented by us Scots we took the game to the world ,as well as so much else.

Yes Scottish football is in a bit of a down just now but in years gone by all the great teams in england ,Liverpool,Manchester utd, were made up of great Scottish players,Denis Law(from my home town Aberdeen),Kenny Dalglesh, i could go on and on.Sir Alex Ferguson one of the best managers in the world ,Scottish through and through,so much so he told the fa to chase them self's when he was asked to manage England.I hope your fans behave themselves this time i don't know why they can't go to the football without wanting to cause trouble.

Yes, one or two Scots are pretty good at Snooker and it is true Andy Murray is Scottish, and in his younger days he showed it with the way he conducted himself But that was just him nothing to do with his heritage, He is more of a Gentleman these days
gsdgary
No rivalry from me just surprised you were so much against the English team, The Keeper should not be dropped, that is a mistake he probably will never make again he should play on, As for me i am not a great Football Fan anyway i wish the Brit team well but for me as always in any Sport may The Best Team Win,
I hate hard luck stories in Sport, Having done enough of it in my life i know it is up to you to perform if you cannot do it when the Time comes then you simply were not up to it thats the way i look at it and how i was

I do not think USA will get in the Semi's Baseball & Basketball etc Yes, they are great, In Soccer they have come a long way but there are countries far in front of them and indeed the UK team, But time will tell For me i will see little or nothing i do not have time for television at this time of the Year with the Dogs and Pigeons

what do you like about pigeons steve ?? dont they carry loads of diseases and ticks, fleas etc ??

by steve1 on 15 June 2010 - 08:06
Where ever did you get that idea You will not ever see a flea on my Pigeons they are A1 healthy, People talk about Freal Pigeons they are not the same as Through bred Racing pigeons, Do you know Breding Liong Distance Racing Pigeons is more Complex than Breeding Dogs, Horses Cattle, or anything else living
I have been in the Pigeon Sport some 60 years Take a look at my Pic again on the other thread Have they hurt me over that time, not at all i will post a Pic for you just to show you how a Real Class Pigeon looks like from my lofts
Steve1
Oh
Pigeons do not carry or transmit disease, In fact when the Fowl Pest thing arrived the Bods extracted Antibodies from Pigeons because they were immune to the diesease, Proven without doubt, and much of the testing done in the USA
Oh. Pigeons do not carry Ticks of any kind Just normal feather lice if not looked after but if they go onto Human skin they die
It is the kersin of the feather they live on

My neighbor has a large & very rare selection of pigeons, when I am sad or bored I pay him a visit & I sit alone for hours watching them, they form a very special society & every couple has a private story like us.
They spend considerable time in cleaning & grooming themselves so I join your opinion that pigeons can never be sources of diseases, ticks, fleas etc...
