The WDA Board of Directors will meet in mid-July.  NASS participatory membership requirement amendments will likely be on the agenda.  A performance recognition motion will also be on the agenda for Board consideration.

Here is a link to the official web site:  www.nass2010.com.  The show grounds are large, well-groomed, fast-draining, and absolutely flat, located at the top of an extensive public park in the heart of one of the America's premier residential counties--just minutes from the historical attractions of Washington, DC.   Modern RV parking is available directly adjacent to the field.  Boy Scouts, already booked for another adjacent campground, will perform service duties for the NASS.  Fairfax County Park Co-ordinators and "Visit Fairfax" personnel have been instrumental in organizing a high quality event--one with significant outreach to the community at large.

The host hotel, Hyatt Dulles, a four star establishement, is just 10 minutes from Dulles International Airport and 15 minutes from the show grounds.  $89/night.  That is an unbelivable price for a hotel of this quality!   Plenty of parking and dog walking paths.  Event Chair, Cindy Petersen, is working hard to make this one of the most memorable, user-friendly events in American SV-style show memory.

Please check both www.nass2010.com and www.gsdca-wda.org for updated information.

Gayle, would be nice if we could see a waiver for membership requirements at least in the young, youth and puppy classes?

The grounds and hotel, as well as the general area sound really nice.

I stand corrected.  The WDA already has performance recognition awards in place.  Five males and five females are singled out and recognized for their pronounced performance tests.

The two judges for the NASS are both very nice, knowledgeable and do not play breeder games. Both of these gentelemen have judged Topline shows and I was very impressed with their picks and honesty.
Their English is very good, but Herr Mai does speak quietly. He will not tolerate any bad behavior from the dogs as he did excuse two at our show a year ago.
I would like to congratulate the WDA for their choices.

I really hope we can go. Dr Lauber was very nice and so patient with my embarassingly bad handling skills!

Gayle- is WDA going to be offering their own Universal title as well?
