Check: www.wt-metall.de/
These are the car boxes used in Germany. There is an "English" explanation - otherwise go to "Boxen" and then on "English".

Training articles do add up-

I used to just carry a harness, leash and a ball/tug....A whole other story now.

harness, ball AND tug, prong collar, harness, leash, long line, obedience tab, tracking flags, articles, a knife and cutting board to cut food for tracking, dumbells, bowls, water container, treats (lots of them), towels, boots, jackets, camera.....

Now X2 for another dog...hahaha.

I had a pontiac G6. Decent sized car, but a car nonetheless. Had to upgrade to an SUV. I know have a jeep laredo, and now I feel like I need a bigger SUV...the dog addiction never ends!!

The addiction doesnt end - but to just upgrading a little to accomodate for the moment - just doesnt make sense....  I know you want rig  this celica - but frankly it is to litttle to put two GSD in... It doesnt make sense in buying two custom crates to put in this  little car.. that isn't a wise decision - .  You have two huge dogs and a little car made for a single person -   yes you can buy two wire crates that break down and you can put  them up when you go to your training area - one of your dogs can sit on them till you get there -  but that is ridiculous -   The economics just doesnt add up in this for me - you will spend two thousand dollars + to have custom crates built for this UNFRIENDLY dog car - just doesnt make any sense...That money would be better spent on a suv down payment.

You want big dogs - need a automobile to drive to carry them in  -obviously you have funds or you wouldnt be considering to buy custom crates

If you are going to up-size go head and get full size SUV.  Tahoe, Yukon, Expedition, etc. You can usually find a 2003-2005 at good price that have plenty of life left in them.

Couple of advantages
  • If you have a training partner you can place two crates plus plenty of room for equipment an luggage if overnight.
  • Also, most all Full Sized SUV's have have a rear a/c system
  • Some even have an entertainment system, so you dog can watch training videos (LOL)
  • Room for your family
  • Reasons are many.
I have 2 #500 crates side by side in my Yukon and this works very well.
