Nothing is absolute.
A dog never bites the hand that feeds it twice. (my grandfathers words)
This can be a true statement in one of several ways.
If the dog was that hungry maybe someone deserved the bite.
It's just a message board.

thank you everyone for your advise, everyone with the good advise has confirmed what i was thinking to.
Moons- people come on this for help not to be put down by people like u. these sort of comments put people off askin for help. if you dont have any good sound advise then i wouldnt say anything at all. everytime i read a feed asking for advise, there is always negative comments from yourself.

What you take as personal or a put down is not.
If you don't like my comments or advice you can simply ignore my post.
You come on the Internet asking advice on a message board, you should be prepared for anything.
No matter why the dog bit, you have a problem, and it would be much better to seek advice from someone right there in real time face to face with the dog and yourself than from total strangers on the Internet who have neither met you or your dog.
I don't tolerate a dog that bites when it's not supposed to.
Answer me two questions honestly,
When you got bit were you afraid?
What course of action did you take at that moment?
It makes a difference.
No matter what you took away from the incident, the dog also learned something from it.
Everyone with good advice confirmed what I was thinking too.
Selective as that is at least your thinking.
Don't stop thinking, especially when your talking to your Vet.
Nothing personal about it, I don't even know you.
