It would seem the genetics run pure through the whole litter.  Aria is almost identical to your description of Apache in nearly every way.  I expect she will attempt to be pack leader once she matures, too, but she has her work cut out for her with my male.  It will be an interesting evolution to watch as they both mature.  Right now they have a great relationship, but if she has a certain ball or toy, she will let it go and he will pick it up, then she will bark 'bloody murder' til she gets it back.  She won't physically challenge him yet, but she just 'nags' him til he gives in.  Sounds like a perfect marriage, huh?  LOL!  If he doesn't give in she will come get me to take it from him.  She is so hilarious.  She is a Daddy's girl.  Drives my family crazy, but, oh well!  LOL!  And the tantrums when she first goes into the crate-OMG can she shake, rattle, and roll the crate!

Bazza, I will try to get some pics this next week and post.  Most of the time I have about 26 hrs scheduled in a 24 hr day, but will make an effort to get some as soon as possible.  Thanks for caring enough to ask, though!

Elkoorr, no, they just want Capri's on file before they register them in case there's an issue, I would guess. I just don't like how you have to wait for each step.

Michael, lol "Daddy's girl". I was on the phone last night w/Alden's owner and found out his wife calls her "your girlfriend." LOL. They are all very....um....headstrong and sure of themselves and know what they want.

Strider's motto is apparently "what's mine is mine, what's yours is mine," according to his owner. Here he is in Feb.

Just for fun. Bad quality, but humorous if you know who they all are. Apache  and Strider are the ones in the middle/end. Alice is in the middle of those two, eating happily while they threaten to kill each other. In the beginning of the clip, Aria is the littlest one who runs off w/her own piece and later you can still see her off in the distance eating it by herself. If anyone's curious who's who, I know them all. I just thought I'd throw this in to show Elkoorr that Apache was always like that.

Another similar one, tug o war over chicken leg quarters. Note that Aria is still off by herself eating and no one dares bother her, lol. Apache is the one you see trot around with it a few paces before the others latch onto it also. The one on top of Apache in the very beginning is Alice. Avasha (bicolor) is the one who keeps popping in and out of the fray, in between pets from me. Alden does the same thing. Excuse the way-too-long grass....I was kinda busy!

WARNING- you will be bored by these vids if you don't know and love these pups.

Loved it, all the growling and chewing at the same time makes it sound like a language, lol. Now isn't that Aria a smart cookie keeping away from the hungry pack, I did notice she gave them a look when the group started moving slowly towards her space. Brilliant!!!

Aria always did that. She was the small one, so she used her brains instead of brawn. Aria would always take a good portion of whatever was served and wander off with it. The others were ususally too busy arguing to notice, and if they tried to approach her, she turned them away w/a look. I have to say, they were all pretty equal though. No one got picked on, and no one was a striaight up bully either. I was surprised that out of 9 they were all so similar.

Loved the videos, its so interesting to watch! Yeah, I can see some traits of Apache he defenitely kept till today. Like when he is getting into rage he will show the white of his eyes together with his theet, and then: Dare you!

And he is the same as Strider, everything is his. If he wants it, he's gonna take it right from the other dogs mouth. He is very strong, fast and has a very hard bite. About 3 months ago I had to pull out of socialization class as he went off on the other dogs that came up to me. He had gotten a good foundation so I didnt feel to bad. And I am not willing to correct the sh$$s out of him as my goals are different than those of a regular pet owner. Aria appears to be the girl-version of Apache. She must be lots of fun! Even Jen's pictures remind me of Apache at this age as she has that alert, I-know-it-all, mischiefious look as well!

here you go 4pack:
